You should be able to find bolts that will work just fine at your local auto parts store. I got a couple at Napa.

Be careful, there are three lengths of those banjo bolts that are sometimes crossreferenced for that application. The longest one will bottom out and the copper gaskets will not seal.

Right, make sure whatever bolt you get will run all the way down to the banjo fitting shoulder and snug up without any washers, then you'll be okay. You should be able to find what you need over the counter for a lot less than $19 apiece!

My duelling banjo bolts don't go to Entry or squeal like a pig. That's enough deliverance references. I found that Napa has part# 82700, caliper hose bolt 10mm x27mm long. Stock bolt is 31mm, but there is plenty of thread engagement on the Napa bolts, despite being about 1/4" shorter. These are COURSE THREAD BANJO BOLTS
REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
