Rally Pac with Duraspark Ignition

Kinda quite lately so thought I would bring up this issue again.
65 289 with Duraspark ignition. Has anyone hooked up stock
Rally Pac to Duraspark ignition? And was it successful?
Just cant see any way it would work? What say you?

Re: Rally Pac with Duraspark Ignition

I've done it a few times. It has been many years since I've done that one but I think it was as simple as wiring the tach inline with the wire to the positive side of the coil. I actually have the RP tach hooked up that way with the EFI conversion in my Mustang and it works fine.

Re: Rally Pac with Duraspark Ignition

Thanks Jeff, since 12 volts and not the reduced voltage of resistor wire works OK going thru the RallyPac tach?
