Cancer (not rust cancer)

Best classic Mustang site on the web I have found, the people here are great and here is my story that not to many know about.
In 09 I had prostate cancer. They removed it. Followed by chemo and radiation for insurance. Made it a couple years then got Luekemia from the radiation. I have had a stem cell transplant wich should have taken care of it. Lost a testicle in April.  Am now in the hospital for the 3rd reacurance of lumps in the breast. I am having 5 kinds of chemo every day for 8 days. Will be in here for 30 days. Currently on day 3. Finanally it has pretty much killed off my retirement savings. Don't know where its going from here. Wish me luck and throw in some prayers.  I will take all I can get.
Thanks
L8tr
Steve

Re: Cancer (not rust cancer)

I'll add you to our prayer list at church.  I lost my Dad to cancer in '99.  Everyone who fights that crap and wins, even for a short while is my hero.

Re: Cancer (not rust cancer)

In the name of Jesus....that cancer has to go!
I believe it...and every  bible-believing Christian believes it too.
I have seen it(on more than one occasion) when people pray together and believe together...miracles happen. THIS is one of those occasions!

Re: Cancer (not rust cancer)

Cancer sucks! Lost my wife and kids' mom to it at age 38. You'd think they'd make more progress in treating it by now.

Sorry to hear that you are going through this again. Hang in there!!!

Re: Cancer (not rust cancer)

Update.
Made it through 6 day's of 5 kinds of chemo. Only headaches from treatment. Now all the cell counts go in the toilet. Then a couple weeks to get good enough to go home. Then several months recovery at home and then the tests start to see if we kicked its butt. Keep up the prayers. Maybe one day I will make it to the Bash.
Thanks
Steve

Re: Cancer (not rust cancer)

Well I got to come homw yesterday. Almost 30 days in the hospital. Counts are low so need to be careful. Probably take 3-4 weeks to get back on my feet. No test results for a couple weeks.
Thanks again for your prayers.
