Has anyone here installed remote mirrors on both sides of your car? I need to order new mirrors. The last set didn't last at all. Then again my idle didn't help the mirrors from wobbling aroun . Lol. I have also considered changing to a 67 style mirror as its bigger.

I have remotes on both sides. Well, actually the factory remote on the drivers side and a dummy on the passenger side. Does someone make a passenger side remote? My dummy remote was set it and forget it. I never had to move it. The Mustang Project makes a set with LED turn signals built in. I could spend $1K just in lights at that site if I let myself.

Have you had good luck with your remote mirror? My regular Mirrors just wobble around when my car idles. I have to constantly adjust them.

I bought the Scott Drake Show Quality remote mirrors when they were on sale. They seem to be of pretty good quality. I had to wait quite a while for the drivers side mirror, as Scott Drake revised it because of complaints of the cable being too short. I had bullet mirrors, I sold them to another forum member. Those were also Scott Drake and were nice quality, as well. I further, have a set of standard mirrors, in a box to someday put on the Galaxie, It is also nice quality mirror, although, I cannot swear it was a Scott Drake, I got them on ebay. It seems to be the exact same mirror that is on a 65 Mustang. I have no idea if that is from someones PO design, as I have seen several types of fancy mirrors on the Galaxies. Point in the rambling was I thought they were all good quality, maybe I got lucky.
If you are interested in making an inside cable remote for both sides, I would think a clever person could easily accomplish that. Just be an expensive thing to do. I could probably take a good look and compare to see how much different the parts are from left to right and see if that could be accomplished, or if a person could even just put two drivers mirrors on.

I was thinking about getting two drivers side remote mirrors. If that won't work I'll probably try some Scott drake Mirrors.

No wobble problem for me. Straight sixes are pretty smooth : ) My remote cables are still tight. I think you might have better luck with the remote cables not letting your mirror shake around.

When we first got our 66 I bought the low-dollar mirrors from NPD....junk, and would not hold adjustment. So I sent them back and bought a set of Scott Drake. They are decent quality and worked well. I may put them on the swap meet page as I have gone completely crazy with mirrors and am very happy that I did...even though some folks are offended.
Butt (TS&T), most folks don't even notice. And at the bash this year one "test driver" commented that he really loved the mirrors...you can actually see something and they are power adjustable...from the same spot in the left door panel as the old cable job.
