Happy Turkey Day to all the FYIFORD members of the board!

Have a great day filled with turkey and all the trimmings, mashed potatoes with gravy, pumpkin pie and football!
I know I will be sitting on the couch doing all of that (not much else I can do - recovering from prostate surgery - the bane of all of us "old" guys).
Have a fantastic day filled with family and good times, and NO politics at the table please!

Re: Happy Turkey Day to all the FYIFORD members of the board!

Happy Thanksgiving to all, Up early (5am) getting the first turkey in, so I can have the second done by lunch, I really need to put a second oven in the garage.

Ron68 take it easy, and do those exercises, I went through prostate cancer 6 years ago (at 44) you guys that think you need to be at least 50 to get it checked, GO GET IT CHECKED, ESPECIALLY IF THERE'S ANY FAMILY HISTORY.

Prayers to you Ron!  I went thru that surgery about 6 years ago.  Fortunately I had mine removed robotically and recovery was about 6 weeks.  I still have PSA tests every 6 months!

Re: Happy Turkey Day to all the FYIFORD members of the board!

Thanks, Ron!  Happy Thanksgiving to all of you.

And Terry- I had to read your message twice before I figured out that you didn't have to get the turkey removed robotically...

*laughing*

A speedy recovery to you after your much more serious surgery.  Get well quick!!

Happy, Thanksgiving and my prayers go out to you Ron for a speedy recovery.  My father in law had his out a few years back.  Recovery took a while, but good as new now.

Well, no cancer, no removal, just a TURP to open it up so it won't lock up (NO FUN!) anymore.  Doing okay, just taking it easy and healing. Got my sons to help with any lifting and such. Thanks for the kind words.
