I have found a few PDF guides to help me with converting this wiring harness to my 65 but to be honest most of it is beyond me. Especially when it gets around to adjusting the o2 sensor so that pin 42 does not get a charge and short out my computer. (Because my computer is manual and the car is automatic). Basically if anyone has something a bit more explanatory on how to do this conversion to a GT A9L wiring harness for my 65 tha'd be great. thanks. also is the mass air flow sensor supposed to be integral to the 60 pin part of the harness?

Also if somebody has a picture of what plugs into the mass air flow sensor

Here's a link to Rock Auto's listing for the MAF connector:
The harness for the Fox cars was in two sections. There's the main harness that feeds the whole car, which connects to the ECM on one side of the car (behind the RH kick panel), runs across the engine bay at the firewall, and runs back into the interior on the LH side. Connected to that harness at the so called salt and pepper shakers (two connectors about 1-1/2" diameter that hang off the upper intake near the firewall) is the engine harness that has most of the wires that plug into the various sensors and the injectors. That harness is being reproduced. Here's a link to it on LMR's site:

I just thoroughly enjoyed reading JamesW's page on installing FI in early Mustangs. I wish there were more like these do-it-yourself. Although I am a retired ASE Master Tech and Master Ford Tech, plus a retired auto instructor, I enjoy reading what someone else has successfully completed.
Nice work.
