I've got a question,With the arning drop if you use roller spring perches, and move them out 1/2 inch and use stock 289 springs, would the 1/2 inch move increase the spring rate enough to compensate for a FE engine swap and still handle the curves?

You can do the math based on the known spring rate and the distance relocated vs stock. Big block springs are usually in the 750 #/in range, so I doubt moving the springs 1/2" will do the trick. Easy enough to calculate, if you paid attention to all those nasty word problems in match class.

I used the TCP coilover on the front for my FE swap, Gret kit. Easy install. Not Cheap, Mustang Depot sends a 10% off coupon code a few times a year and usually offer free shipping. You can easily save $200+
REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
