In another thread we were discussing horn problems. I have noticed that My turn signals dont self cancel. Cant remember having this problem when I first got my car finished. I had the steering column loose when I upgraded my brake pedal assembly and again when my horn would self honk. When you slide the column up or down to affect the horn will that aslo affect the turn signals cancelling????

If there is too much space between the column and the wheel the 'pins' on the bottom of the steering wheel may not be engaging the turn signal switch. Try loosening the column and moving it towards the wheel a bit, tighten, and see if it is working. If it is still not working or only works turning one direction, pull the wheel and make sure the plastic turn signal switch has not broken off.

I had the same problem. Loosen the column tube and move it up like Jeff said. Problem solved.

Terry I have the same problem, Ends up I pinched a wire reinstalling the turnsiginal switch. which has led to other problems.
Brian & I still mannaged to get Miss May over to a cruise-n-shine this evening. The ol'gal was recieved quite well. Most folks haven't seen the 2+2 in a long while.
In the mean time, If any one has a Turn siginal switch that will fit into a 68 column I'll be pleased to buy it.
