Re: What rear gear with a AOD

This is my ride. I have a standard WC T5 with 3.40 gears and 25.8" rear tires. (215/55/16 front and 225/55/16 rear). I don't have the exact freeway cruising RPM's but I think I am around 1900 - 2100 @ 60 mph. I have a stock C code cam in my 289 so it is all used up at 4400 RPM. I have a long first gear and my 2nd and 3rd gear power band is good. I do open track with my car. This ratio matches my cam and T5 very well.
