Re: 15X7 American Alloy Rim's

Do you know the wheel offset or back spacing of your American Mags?

Re: 15X7 American Alloy Rim's

I have them on my 66. I think just about any tire that will fit on a 7" rim is going to have issues. I wouldn't run anything bigger then a 205/60/15. I run 215/60/15 with rolled lips and a little or 1° neg camber and I rub sometimes. You may be better off with 15x6 TTD's in front. The problem is the lousy back spacing at 3.75". You want more like 4.25" with a 7"

I'm not a complete idiot.....pieces are missing. Tom

Re: 15X7 American Alloy Rim's

Wow!  Is everybody different.  When I had 15" wheels, I never had a rubbing problem.

Wheels - 15x7". 4.25bs.  Tires - 225-60  all around
Suspension  Shelby drop, GT springs w/1" lowering.
Sometimes I wish I had stayed there.
