1966 Coupe.
The problem started when I changed the steering wheel.
I remember someone saying to adjust the height of the column.
That didn't work, so I replaced the switch, still not cancelling the LEFT side.
Does anyone have any ideas? I can't find anything about this in the archives,
I'm not using the right search words, I guess.
Thanks in advance!

Hey Pete, it seems as if the left cancelling arm is broken off or bent so badly its missing the bumps on the cam in the middle of the switch. With the steering wheel off, look at the switch in the column. Push the turn signal to turn left, then by hand turn the cam in the middle of the switch to the right and see if it makes contact with cancelling arm. Are you using a stock steering wheel, or after market? Make sure the pin in the switch is in the slot behind the steering wheel.

What I'm finding is that that piece with the two tabs on the back of the wheel is moving. Compared to the one on the original that is stationary. I think it's hitting the cancelling tabs and just spinning since the tabs are stronger in this case. How do I lock that piece onto the wheel without interfering with anything else?

Out of curiosity, what kind of wheel are you using?

There should be nothing moving on the back of the steering wheel, what steering wheel are you using? On some wheels there is one or two holes to install a split dowel pin to hit the cancelling tabs. Is it a stock wheel, or after market.

It's an after-market repro wheel. Turns out that cam on the back of the wheel was spinning. So, instead of cancelling the signal, it was just spinning. I epoxyied the hell out of it. Working so far! Thanks for everyone's input!

Does anyone know if that cancel cam/ring is available anywhere? CJPony does not have it. They say they only have it with a reproduction wheel.
