Interested to see how this goes! This is kind of the reverse of what we had to do with my fastback... we chopped the rear end out of a coupe that had been wrecked up front to use in piecing mine back together after I got rear-ended.

Some new pics after getting it welded back together.  Now to get started on installing the R&C Mustang II front suspension and TinMan subframe connectors.

Wow!  Very impressive!  I might get it welded back together, but the doors would probably never shut properly again if I did it.

I am not a fan of MII, but this is for someone else, and I could not talk him out of it.

Looks great.  I'll bet you spent as much time setting things up (or maybe more) than doing the cutting and welding.

Are there any updates on this project? I would love to know how you went about joining the two with reinforcement etc.
