New brake lines

ICM getting ready to replace all my lines . going to install mustang steve master and adjustable proportioning valve along with cobra front and rear disc brakes . Is it better to run 1/4" line to the rear brakes or should I do the whole system in 3/16" line good enough

Re: New brake lines

Every factory system I've ever seen from sports cars to 1 ton trucks are 3/16" tubing.  I would not deviate from it.

Re: New brake lines

Does anyone have a diagram or a list of the actual brake lines that make up the entire brake system on a 64-1/2 - 65 Coupe with single exhaust and disc brake (conversion) front? I have tried looking online and I cannot find anything.
I want to replace the lot, including the flexible hoses.

Jeez, I hope you didn;t order plain copper line for brakes! Get the proper brake line material, cupro/nickel, or stainless steel are options.
Ordinary copper work hardens and gets brittle, cracks and will leave you with no brakes.

One option is to buy a set of factory assembly manuals.  They are reprinted and commonly available from Mustang parts houses.  I bought a set for my '67 and they have been invaluable when trying to put stuff back together that was done incorrectly over the car's history before I bought it.  I've even used the pictures as a guide to fabricate some parts you cannot easily find/buy (flasher bracket for behind the cluster, J-hooks for various wiring & vac. lines).
