Concerning FYI Forum member at(Allen)

With great sadness I'm passing along this message from my Inbox, I read last night;

"Corky,
This is Pam, Allen's wife. I know the two of you corresponded often. I wanted to let you know that Allen passed on June 15th this year from a heart attach. I plan to keep his Mustang at least for now. It's fun to drive. I am going to leave this line open in case our daughter or I have questions regarding the car

I know he enjoyed this Forum and checked it daily.

Allen lived in Clear Water Fl. close to Tampa, and was quite the inventor. I especially liked his mount for A/C compressor, on the lower passenger side of the engine w/5.0 serpentine.
A very knowledgeable Mustanger, the Forum will be poorer for his passing.

Corky

Re: Concerning FYI Forum member at(Allen)

Thanks for passing the word, Corky.  I had alway thought that the Ford EEC-IV could be setup to run on a stock manifold or just the lower EFI manny without the "chef's hat" but Allen beat me to it.  He was running a speed density PCM from a CV/TC, etc. and said it ran just fine.  I'm very sorry I never got to meet him.

Thanks again,
BB
