This is painted. The pic is grainey but if you look close you can see where the flange was taped off and you can see the gray weld through primer...

Re: Well finally got the cowl painted..(Pics)...

Will somebody pulleeeeeze make a detachable cowl? If we can have enough ingenuity to make every type of suspension and engine/tranny combos fit into Mustangs then someone can market a cowl and removeable cover. I know first time installation would be a royal pain...but think of the ease of life afterwards.

What color is the car going to be? I'm assuming white?

Re: Well finally got the cowl painted..(Pics)...

Yes And Yes. I was trying to figure out how I could retro fit ah 69-70 cowl in place of this 65-66. The only thing that stopped me was cost$$. I would have had to buy ah $500.00 upper & lower 69-70 and hope I could make it work? Also in the end, if I can help it, the only water going into this cowl will be when I wash it! And yes white again. I mulled over what color I could do this car in and I kept going back to the white my original one was. I like the way crome looks against white paint and it goes with the whole "good guy sinister"  or sleeper theme I'm going for...
