Weekend progress n 67

Welded in paches on lower front corner of the doors. Also did a littel research sanding on the bubbles of the rear fender . Pictures are with no body filler yet. Any one no a source for a patch panel for this rear fender lip?

Re: Weekend progress n 67

If thats all the rust that quarter has, you can just make ah small patch like you did on the door..

Re: Weekend progress n 67

I did poke around in there with a pick and screwdriver and blew it out with compressed air . Saw a couple of pin holes on one side. I think they can be patched. I will be able to tell more once I get it opened up.Did not want to jump into that due to haveing a frontend alinment set up for this friday.

Re: Weekend progress n 67

I was thinking if you can get in behind there with ah copper plate you can probably just weld those holes up rather then cut out and patch it.

RIGHT YOU ARE hmartin025!       Made a noticeable differencein my 66 in handleing AND the ease it steers when sitting still. Don't know why that part improved(steering while still) but it did!

Re: Weekend progress n 67

I took the specs from Daze site when I had my 67 coupe aligned two weeks ago. Drives fine, doesn't wander or anything else. I have a unisteer r & p though.
