Just installed the seat track extenders purchased recently, and they fit perfect. In my opinion, they are very strong and do not overhang the back of the seat riser enough to notice. They extend the seat back 2 inches as advertised and do give you more leg room and head room. Heck, I should get a commission for any future sets sold. I feel like I am making a commercial rather than reporting my experience. Anyway, I would recommend them if the guy selling them is a member of the forum. Oh, I did drill two new holes in the riser to accomodate the bolts on the original seat track. This allows the seat track extenders to sit flush on the risers. I now have more leg room and head room and I think this is a good alternate solution to cutting and lowering and rewelding the seat riser.

Do you have pictures? A link to where you got them? What year Mustang effectivity? Original seats or newer seat retro installations?

Hi Guys,
I have a set of seat track extenders that allow you to gain an extra 2" of leg room--great for tall or "bigger" drivers. Direct bolt on in 5 min after your seat is out. Made from cold rolled steel and feature grade 8 hardware. $80 plus shipping. Contact me at swc@odyssey.on.ca You can check my Ebay feedback under my user name of rebel-racing.

They are listed in FYI's swap meet page. I was looking at them, too.
Anybody out there tried buying seat track extenders for a 94 GT Convert?? I've looked around the 'net and it looks like the seat belt mechanism interferes somehow and you only get 1" extension. There has to be a company that makes something better. Thanks for looking at this and hopefully I can get a response.

I try not to spend $100.00 when for about a buck thirty seven fifty I can make stuff myself.
These extenders were made from odds and sods to push the 2004 Mustang seats in my 68 back to siut my height. The width of the 04 seats are so close to the O/E that a few strokes of a rat tail file allows them to mount easily, I duplicated the front to rear measurments when I mounted my brackets to the 04 rails.
I foung that with this method there was virtually no increase in the seat height.
I took all the risers off of the 2004 seat rails and welded/bolted these extenders on to them. The 04 rails are already a few inches longer than the 68 rails so I ended up with almost 4 more inches of rear travel, great for my 6'4" frame.
Sorry for the huge pictures but since photobucket priced themselves out out of business I 'm having a hard time finding a simple 3'rd party picture host.

I also did my own track extenders. Was a bit more effort than the cost of an OTS paert would have been. But, I also was able to fit a different bolt pattern in a different seat at the same time which gave me a much nicer seat at a fraction of the cost of a new mustang seat.
While I was at it, ans repairing the floor, I cut an inch and a half out of the seat riser. Awesome move. Of course, I'm 6'7" so I need all the room I can get.
