is there anyone or a company that sales the front half of the drivers side rear quarter?

I've had luck with sheet metal from the Paddock. They have what you are looking for, but it includes thewheel opening. There are few places where they are made, so many of the Mustang parts stores use the same sources.

Yeah, I think all the tin nowadays is made offshore. It comes down to who handles their product the best to prevent shipping damage. There's really only 2 or 3 stamping companies in the game, and who knows, they might all use the same company in whatever Asian country where they stamp it.
I was looking for a new body for my '76 CJ5 and found out eventually that there is one place in the Phillipines that actually makes them. All the companies that sell them buy from that one place. The difference in cost reflects what they do once they take delivery of the body to ensure a smooth fit. The cheapest places literally do nothing and the fit is horrible. The expensive places carefully align everything, makes sure all the holes are drilled and properly located, etc, and the body just drops right on like its a factory piece. You pay a premium for that service, but most people think its worth it. I tend to agree.

I agree with what is stated above. I would add, that whenever possible, buy from someplace where you can pick the stuff up. There is a guy about 30 minutes from me that buys taiwan mustang & camaro sheet metal by the container full. I pay a bit more than the online plus shipping price, but I can open the wrappers and inspect the panels before I surrender my cash. A little over a year ago I bought EXACTLY the patch panels you speak of from Mill Supply. I bought both sides. They arrived, both dumped in one HUGE carton, loose in the box, no wrapping, no packing material of any kind. Both were horribly scratched all over, and all 4 corners of both patch panel were bent. We worked it out, but buying local would have eliminated that problem, and the delays associated with it.
