those of you that mounted the fender badge pony to a billet grill how did you do it?..i have the Scott Drake mounting clips but they are way to short..it seemed like a simple install but apparently I was fooled...anyone have such a simple problem?...im thinking JB Weld with something metal but was wondering what you all did

Seems like a 67 fender badge was used?

I was thinking possibly the same...but JC sold it as a package deal so maybe they screwed up?

Do you have the W shaped bracket? It is a Shelby specific piece.

the ones I got were clips that CJ had for sale...they were to short///in the endi JB welded a screw to the back of the badge put a plate on the other end and bolted it down...I painted everything on the inside grill part black so it doesn't stand out...it looks pretty good...I just wonder how long the JB will last?

REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
