But i don't want anything cheap looking id like to find something that looks original lenses with Led?

I am in favor of LED lighting and try to use it extensively. Right now I have is the LED 1157 style bulbs and I think they are brighter than a filament bulb. They are several years old and when I replace them I will bite the bullet and get these:

I used this kit from CJ. You have to upgrade your Blinker module for one that can handle the LED current draw.

I bought Mustang Project sequential LED's. I'll get their Dash light kit for the 73 Vert eventually.

I had sequential LED's I purchased from the local mustang shop. I could never get them to work consistently. I tried three different grounding methods and finally went back to the stock bulbs.

Like Corky, I also used the Mustang Project rear sequential LEDs on my 66. Easy installation and no problems in the 3 years they have been in there. I also used their LED lamps for the front turn signals.
Still stock on the dash lights with the blue covers removed. You do need to buy the matching blinker module to replace the flasher can.
REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
