Axle project

That sucker is huge!   Its fun to make something yourself.  I'm sure you have a big plan for that thing.

I saw these pics in one of your earlier posts and then a pic of a Fab-9 rear, also some of Hakan's car pics.  Is this a kit you can buy or are you cutting the metal and fabbing?  Looks like you would need a fixture to put the pieces into to make sure everything is aligned properly.  If you're doing it yourself it looks very professional, nice work.  Just curious what do you think you will have in the axle when finished?

If you seen these pictures,than it would be in the last 2 weeks,because didn't posted them earlyer
this is no kit,i worked out the plans myself and these are cut on a lasertable
offcourse i need a fixture,already made my own weldingjig to put it straight together
pictures are from two projects,this 8 inch is for a buddy of mine with springsaddles on the axle


 Mine will be 4 linked and with a 9 inch aluminium yukon member
waiting on the housingends,these will arrive this week

Like I said, very professional. You could probably sell those, if not too expensive. I've seen those metal cutters on various car shows on TV, but never priced one.

Lasers and brakes are really handy for things like this. Looks like you have access to both. What are the slots in the front plate for? We tab and slot a lot of parts at work to reduce weld fixturing.
