I installed the Total Control power rack in my 67 fastback. Its still under construction but I want to get my Ididit column in and install tie rods so I can move it around.
Anybody know approx. tie rod length end to end ? just looking for a base measurement that will get me relatively close when I install them. Once I get the car running I will be getting an alignment.
thanks

I don't know what that measurement is but typically toe is 1/16 toe in. That will get you to the alignment shop. There are some good threads on hear about doing it yourself.

Just set the toe at 1/16" in. Centering the rack is probably the trickiest part, and I can't help you with that. On a regular steering box car you just set the tie rod lengths so they are equal and start adjusting evenly on each side from there until you reach your desired toe.
