I see ebay lots of different options for firewall pads for a 67 Mustang.
They start at about $45 and go up to about $190. Some are just reproductions of the originals while other are advertised as higher quality ABS plastic with a double layer of acoustic/ thermal material. The higher end ones seem to be made by dynacorn.
Are they worth the extra money and is the fitment good or create other issues? looking for any feedback.
I was planning to install some dynamat or similar material inside the car.

Hello , I used two different kind for firewall , one thin alu+ butilic ( sound &vibe) and another thick heat shield + alu .
I bought them from local auto supplier - and car audio supplier
I don't know if they work like dynacorn but in my car they are doing the job .
two layers for firewall , one for the floor and other parts
for 150 bucks i done all the floor, firewall and roof
hope it helps

I bought the $45 first. It’s flat and the fit was terrible. I cut it up and used as patch material elsewhere. The next one was about $85 from ACC, fit was a lot better. I was told the best fitting firewall mat was still ACC and about $135. The last could be off, I’ve slept since then.
If you’re going to do some type of sound dead net or heat barrier like dyna mat or Lizard Skin, now is the time.
