Good alignment shop in N Dallas area?

I am looking for a shop that is good with old car alignments, and not scared off by the Street or Track coilover suspension I've had installed.  I've tried a few local Goodyear-type places, and they want no part of it.  I'm in Plano, so nearby would be great, but at this point any recommendations are appreciated!

Re: Good alignment shop in N Dallas area?

If you installed the suspension yourself, I would advise simply aligning the car yourself.  Its really not that hard.  I use a Fastrax gauge for caster and camber and a set of turn plates I got off Amazon (not even strictly necessary, but it does make things easier).  Toe can be set with a tape measure.  A coilover setup should be even easier to adjust than the stock suspension.  The only difference is that you will need to set ride height first.

TKO is absolutely right. The Fastrax tool works great. You can make a set of turn plates or in a pinch, putting a trash bag under each front tire works too.

Re: Good alignment shop in N Dallas area?

East of Dallas I use Special D Automotive near Rockwall. They have a mechanic that is a genius on alignments. My Fastman Fab setup didn't faze him one bit. He even found another issue on one of my wheel bearings I kept thinking was an issue with my rear end.

Thanks for the input.  I may check out Special D if I can't find someone closer.  I've considered doing it myself, but I'm trying to be smart about not aggravating a recent lower back injury.
