    Hi Folks, does Anyone Know the Specs on the ECD Casting????

    my research i can only find 1958-9 or something rather.....but not data sheet.....are they 400cfm or 600cfm???

    are the parts entirely interchangeable with the other 4100's;  Do The Butterfly's Swap with either 1.08 or 1.12?



    Im asking to rebuild a 1.12 I have acquired that is missing parts and somehow some S&%tbird bent 3 out 4 Butterflys

    The 1.12 is for a 400 cubic inch high performance engine. Your stock 289 is a poor match.

    The ECD stamped carburetor isn't for the 289 nor is the 1.12. Im aware it's too much for that engine.

    I'm looking to find specs on the ECD. There doesn't seem to be any literature on it (like the others).
    Need to know CFM rating, bore size and butterfly diameters (to be clear, on the ECD)

    Maybe you are looking for the "EDC"?  Swapping those last two letters makes a bit of a difference as I could find nothing on a ECD.  Here are two links discussing them.  https://www.fordfe.com/tagless-edc-d-carburetor-size-identification-pleas-t110767.html   https://forums.vintage-mustang.com/vintage-mustang-forum/515433-autolite-4100-question.html   There is a little bit more here and perhaps you could call the shop in the next link to get answers to your questions.  Looks like it could be 465 CFM.  https://www.carburetor-parts.com/Autolite-4100-Carburetor-Repair-Kit_p_786.html    Click on the applications tab.  1958 332 was about it according to this chart.

    I did make a mistake with the Letter Order, what you typed is what I intended to type.  Thank you very much, I've been trying to find literature on it all afternoon and did find only 1 source, but I have nothing to cross-reference till now!

    IT means that IT wasn't used on anything else other than the 1958 332 engine from what I could find.  There were some posts that indicated they might have been used up until 1960.  Not a widely used carb, in other words.

    basically Good Luck.........

    well to clarify, im not looking to use it on a car, just for parts on a 4100 1.12.....I need secondary shaft and all 4 butterflies (throttle plates).  for some ungodly reason someone bent them all....the 4100 is from 63 and is all apart, COMPLETELY cleaned ready to assemble, just need that shaft and plates.
