I have good news. Relates to Tech discussion in a way

This morning I accepted a new position in my company that requires almost zero amounts of travel. In 2018 I was over 285 days on the road. Needless to say I did very little work on any of our Mustangs. 2019 will change all of that.
Time to get dirty and finishing replacing the floor of Anna's 1966 Vert.

WOW! Congrats. Glad to hear it went through. It will be a great feeling to make some progress on all those projects you've been gathering up.

Awesome!
I have had 250+night away from home years before.  Had the money but didn’t have the time to do what I wanted with it.

Enjoy your garage time!

This calls for collective road trip, kind of like Waco trip last summer.
How about Austin this time?

Re: I have good news. Relates to Tech discussion in a way

All the Austin talk made me think back to the times I have been there.

Every time I was in Austin the entire time I was there I was thinking to myself “I’m not cool enough to be in Austin”.

Need hipster tattoos to blend in there, cooler t-shirts and more interesting facial hair.

Austin - the place where the Haight Ashbury hippies went to compost. ‘’Keep Austin Weird” bumper stickers tell you they are taking themselves too seriously.

Probably the coolest guy in Austin is Aaron Franklin: no tatoos, plain white T-shirt, facial hair from not having time to shave because he works around the clock making the best BBQ on the planet.

I went to the Masters in Augusta Ga last year and thought I'd try their pimento cheese sandwich. Unlike you guys, I'd never had it before. Holy crap, ended up eating 4 of them. At $1.50 each, I was in hog heaven. Now I just gotta find some to try in scrambled eggs.

ONLY Palmetto Pimento Cheese will work! (It has Jalapeno peppers in it) IF you come to the Masters again....that's close enough for a "get together" !  Let me know when.
