Daze / RPM.
What did your motion ratio end up being with moving the coilover mounting point outward and using the LCA?
Thanks for your time,
Peter

I don't know the ratio on mine, I'd have to measure it. I made the lower arm the same length as my stock arm from inner pivot to ball joint, and put the shock mount tabs as far outward as possible.

Same, I didn’t calculate it because I new that I was limited by the OEM lca length, and lik RPM put it as close to the ball joint as I could get it.

What length and spring rate coil spring did yall use Daze? That is if you don't mind me asking
Sorry it took me a couple days to answer this. I couldn’t remember the spring rate so I had to put the spring in my shop press on a bathroom scale. It’s 300 pounds per inch and 12” long.
That helps me out quite a bit, very much appreciated Daze. Great custom cool over gives me some inspiration on building my own set up.

I just listed on the swapmeet page, the roller perches and adjustable strut rods that came off my car when I did this mod. I refurbished them so they are like new.

How does it ride and drive?

It was fantastic before, but now not sure. The car is still in pieces... lots and lots of pieces
...but at least I am working on it again

RPM, can I use this picture on my web site? if fact if you have any other pictures of the upper mount that you would be willing to let me use it could be a big help for people wanting another mounting option.
If you are willing to share I would give you credit for the pix on my site. Also again assuming you are willing if you could shoot me a picture similar to the next one only your mount that too would be a big help

Absolutely brother Day, anytime. I'm not clear on which upper mount you need pics, the UCA arm, the upper shock mount, or? Do you want the pics posted here, or in an email to you?

What I am after is the strut rod upper mount. I want the show people that instead of building a mount that fits in the strut rod mount hole and connects to the heim (like I pictured from mine), that you can drill the pocket perpendicular to the OEM mount location and run a bolt through it with spacers to center the heim joint. Email, post them here or what ever works best for you

Because of the width of the mounting area, I used a 5/8" thru hole in the rod end and bolt, with outer sleeves to locate the rod end. I clearanced the original upper mount, but left some meat on the bone.
