Been asking for advice pretty frequently the last couple weeks so I thought I would give an update.
Ground the oil galley plugs that were interfering with the engine plate just a little so engine plate and quick time bell housing would fit flush against block.
Rigged up my dial indicator to check bell housing alignment. That was a real pain to get the dial indicator positioned properly. I installed Lakewood dowels in the block hoping everything was in alignment. To my satisfaction the bell housing was almost dead on well within the recommended tolerances. Thanks QuickTime
Installed flywheel, pilot bearing clutch pressure plate and bell housing. Going to install the transmission after engine is in since I work alone. Would have loved installing as a combo but with the newly painted engine compartment I decided to just put the TKO 600 in afterwards
Dropped engine in took about 15 minutes to get it on the mounts.
Thanks everyone for the advice. Finally making a little progress.
