Be critical of this photo. Playing with new software.

I like to play with Photoshop, but I've found something EASY. It can make for some very dramatic, "affected photos", but I think that's fun. This was a fairly dirty car after work one day. Taken with an ipad. Is this interesting to look at, or is it too surreal to enjoy?

Looks like a good MustangSteve 2014 calendar entry pic to me.

Is this one too much? I realize having the other car in there is not ideal, but I enjoy these highly affected images as well.

Looks like you captured The Almighty's light itself shining down upon that beautiful carriage.

That is one fine looking Vert.  That dark maroon is what I've been wanting on my Vert.
Very nice looking car.   Mike

I think it is a tad over the top, but who am I to complain?  If you like it, keep it.

I'm not that impressed, if you could make my car look that good, then I would be impressed. LOL

Very impersive car!!!

Re: Be critical of this photo. Playing with new software.

This is my point boys. Some of you have seen this car. It's no big deal. 2 minutes with this free program and it made a picture my fairly plain looking, dirty car look pretty cool. I wasn't asking about the car as much as I was the photo of my car. Anyone else got a photo of their car they'd let me play with? I'd like to play some.  Show me a nicely framed picture that seems kinda bland. Lets see what it can do.

Re: Be critical of this photo. Playing with new software.

I didn't want to come off like I was selling the software so I didn't mention it, but its a program called Snapseed.  It does a better job in 5 minutes than I'm capable with Photoshop in hours.  Of course, I'm not trained or in the biz... I'm just playing around. No question Photoshop is infinitely more capable in qualified hands; this is just a cool shortcut I found. When is the Edwardsville thing? You already mentioned the "where", but what is the occasion?

Context is everything..  I've never seen your car before, so I don't know what I am suppposed to be looking at.  Can you post some before pics as well?

Re: Be critical of this photo. Playing with new software.

Thats a pretty good photo for a starting point using an IPAD.   You must be using an IPAD 2 because my IPAD 1 does terrible photos.  I heard the IPAD 2 is much better though

I really, really like the way the vert looks in this pic, other than the other cars.  Not just the picture, but the car is very nicely and tastefully done with a perfect color combination, wheels and stance.  Good job !  NOW DRIVE IT TO THE BASH.

Is this the same maroon convertible that was at the illinois bash a few years ago?

Re: Be critical of this photo. Playing with new software.

Thank you sir!  Yes, Greg B and I came to the Jacksonville IL bash a few years ago.  I live just outside of St. Louis on the Illinois side of the arch.  I'm enjoying what you're doing with yours as well.  Fun stuff!
