This is for all those folks that grumble about the modern-day "tin-can" automobiles .
They are definatly "flim-zer" than the old iron of yesteryear.

Yeah Mike, I saw that vid some time ago and ever since I'm really careful about getting anywhere near a 09 Malibu when I'm in the Mustang. Fortunately, I don't ever plan to own a 59 Chevy.
Also, I read that most accidents occur within 25 miles of home so I ALWAYS wear my seat belt until I get to the next town north of us.
JUST JOKING....NO BAD JU-JU PLEASE

When I heard most accidents occur within 25 miles of home, I moved. I know, it's an old one.

Terrible waste of a '59 Chevy. I had an Impala the same color as that one.

Long time ago, in a land far away....had a younger guy looking & talking about my MuttiMobile (the Valiant SW), "Wow you must feel safe w/ all that strong metal around you"
I then politely showed him the pretty metal gadgets inside & how they would rip out my skin, eyeballs, etc in a 5-10mph crash, how the pretty steering wheel would go through my insides, blah, blah. Every time I drive my oldies I know I'm risking mayhem to my lovely features.

I ride a Harley. Anything with four wheels is a sanctuary to me.

I hear dat.
Dumb S___ that I was (am?), I rode my bit___'n Wide Glide w/ dual disc brakes on front, a CHAIN no sissy rubber drive (When AMC owned HD) w/o a hamlet (no mandating law then). I looked cool of course, but even then I knew that it was damn stupid. Never went down, but didn't keep it that long.

REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
