Cobra-RLG

Hey guys, I just recently bought the COBRA-RLG for my Lincoln Versailles rear end. I purchased the 95 Mustang Cobra brakes from Autozone (Duralast 18-B4544A and 18-B454A) but when I went to install the cobra caliper cradle to the Bracket B in the kit with the supplied bolts, the bolts were too big for the cradle but the right size for the Bracket B. I sent those calipers and brackets back and ordered the 04 Cobra setup to see if they will work. But any info on which caliper and cradle needed would be great.

Thanks

Re: Cobra-RLG

Cobra rear brakes are all the same from '94-'04.  Fair warning that the calipers themselves are the same as the GT, but the pads and mounting bracket are different due to the wider rotors Cobras use.  I'm wondering if you got some mismatched parts due to that partial crossover of GT and Cobra parts.

Re: Cobra-RLG

Sounds like wrong parts in the autozone box.
Can you post a picture of the problem?

You do have the instructions in hand, right?

Re: Cobra-RLG

I contacted Michael and MS. we have figured out that the bracket that was sent to me from the kit was for the 13-15 brakes. Not the 94-04 cobra brakes. Customer service was amazing.
