    Weight on 1988 Ford Mustang Convertible 5.0 LX

    Hello
    I would very much like to know how much a 1988 ford Mustang Convertible 5.0 LX is weighing.
    I have found different answers when i search the internet for an answer.
    One of the weights that pop`s up is 2961 lbs.p. is this correct.

    That seems ah little too lite to me . According to this site they were 3340lbs which seems more like it to me..http://www.automobile-catalog.com/make/ford_usa/mustang_3gen/mustang_3gen_gt_convertible/1988.html

    we call them pigs...  3300 without driver....hell the coupes barely weigh 2900 if u r lucky.. still a ton lighter than the 4100 pound challengers

    I had a 1989 LX 5.0 coupe with 5spd and hatchback- I remember the registration said about 2920. The convertible has to be a few hundred more than this.

    65 mustang coupe, 351W, C6-  2800 stall, B&M blower, 9inch- trac-loc 3.70 gears
