1st Bash-Definitely SWEET 16

A truly wonderful group of friends.  1300 mile round trip was simply worth it.  Although my wife couldn’t make it this year, WE are looking forward to next year’s already.  Almost converted the ‘65 into a foxbody when the fox crossed highway in front of me near Autrain,MI.  No problems otherwise.  Thanks Steve for the booster conversion.

To all that didn’t make it.  If you can schedule time from work (some of us still work for a living) it will be well worth it. Great memories and friends were created on my first trip.  Obviously you found this forum to help you on your projects like I did.  This group will help with that too.  I feel like I asked about a million questions and I was able to get all of them answered without be belittled.  Truly a group to be admired and respected.  Definitely a wealth of knowledge all in one location enjoying each other’s company and sharing ideas and failures (how not to do stuff).

The pleasure was all ours glad you can make it.I suffered a great loss while I was at the bash it would not have been good for me to be alone but with the bonds created with this group I was able to enjoy our time look forward to talking and seeing you next year. And I like the coupe nice ride I tell the guys I ride with them so they remember what they car use to look like. Lol 😂

Re: 1st Bash-Definitely SWEET 16

Hey Dan, here are a couple of pics of the engine support brace with the same fi intake you're using. The car is a Falcon that Bullet Bob worked on, and I don't know if they engine had been lowered for the brace to fit. Thought it might give you some ideas.
