I have a 1966 Mustang Coupe with 289 V8 and a T5 5 Speed and Factory Steering Box and a Mustang Steve Cable Clutch System Just wanting to Know a Recommended Headers should I Use that dont Damage the Clutch Cable Thanks Tom

JBAs work fine. My only install issue was related to the Borgesson steering box hitting the header on the LH side. They would clear a stock box no problem, and I've had no issues with the clutch cable.

JBA 1650's are the better header, However the parent company also makes Patriot headers. The Patriot SBF shorty is a direct copy of the 1650 as far as shape and fit, the header flange and tube wall thickness are thinner though. For a budget part with very good fitment the Patriots aren't a bad choice
Miss May (1965 2+2 w/331) has 1650's while the 73 vert (306) uses Patriots

I'd skip the headers and use hi-po manifolds. Using stock parts is enough work.
