Anyone had same issue,Centre console metal insert Rattle

My Centre Console Metal plate rattels and vibrates enough that it annoys me

Now my cars running better im slowly getting some of the Bugs Out.

RTV is your friend, if you are talking about the fixed chrome pieces.


Money you enjoy wasting is NOT wasted money... unless your wife finds out.

I remember back when I was a kid we took ours apart and glued in strips of foam.....it worked, but using  RTV would be so much faster and easier.

Get some thin foam with adhesive tape on one side. glue it down and no more buzz. That is how i cured mine. 


Good, fast or cheap. Pick any two...
