70 seats in a 67??

How do 69/70 seats fit into a 67 cpe?

There should be four holes in the floor where the old 67 seats went.
Use those holes!

Sometimes you guys crack me up... let me rephrase the question.

Would 69/70 seats with TMI (sport) foam & upholstery be an upgrade to 67 stock seats?

Are they wider or taller in a way that would make things worse instead of better?

I would think they should fit without issue.  I have TMI sport seats with headrests in my '67.  I initially considered using TMI foam and upholstery on the later seat frames, but it proved too expensive so I found what I wanted in a complete seat from TMI.  Basically I wanted to keep the horizontal pleats in the seats because that's what '67s had originally.  I'm quite happy with the seats.  With their adapter brackets it was an hour job to swap seats.

The '69 seat with separate headrest looks amazing in the 67/68. That's what I ran and found very comfortable for many years. Easy bolt in.
