    Progress today - installing an AC condenser

    Installed the condenser and drier this weekend.  More work to this than meets the eye...  The wider 70 model radiator caused me to have to use some later model tubing.

    The core support has been opened up to fit the larger 24" radiator, and also I built a little pocket area for the large tube to fit into.  Custom-fit brackets, cut the hole for the tubes to go through, made a special plate to finish out the hole...  Painted everything flat black because I hate it when something shiny shows up through the grille.  The finned area around the edges of the new aluminum radiator will get shot black so they don't show through as well, since there is a gap around the condenser.

    Steve, did you remember to install the special screw through the condenser coil that MasterCrap thought was necessary for proper A/C operation?
    Just kidding, glad to see you make such good progress on the 66.

    BobC...Almost did that.  Procured shorter bolts.  All is OK.
