It is drawn to scale on MicroStation, by me. The sectional doors are 8' high instead of normal 7', so maybe that is throwing off your perspective. Also, the larger size of the building footprint in relation to the wall height might make you think the walls are shorter. The porch roof will only be 8.5' at the outer edge since it is a lean-to type roof.
Decided not to add any pull pots inside. I do not plan to do that heavy of work in the shop. (The pull pots will be outside so there is plenty of room in case something ever needs to be restrained.) In a future 12' wide slab between the shop and the fence, once the HOA is no longer paying attention.

Good thinking there. You don't seem like the kind of guy who would live in an HOA community.
