My "66" Mustang
!!!! Interior lights flickering !!!!
Volt meter gauge in dash says 14 V at idle
Hand held meter says 14.9 at the battery and at the charging block and 2nd battery in trunk ... no difference from idle to 2,ooo rpm ...
Even with full electric load AC turned on headlights turned on all interior lights electric fan on and stereo with C -D changer and Amp .. still reads a good strong 14 volts ..
At regulator
A- terminal cut the yellow wire short ran it from starter solenoid battery terminal pigtail ( yellow and black / yellow stripe) to alternator .. A - terminal
At regulator
Tied together white F - terminal ( old field ) to green / red stripe S - terminal ( from ignition key)
At alternator
tied white from regulator to the green / red stripe from alternator I - terminal
At alternator
Looped S - terminal white / red stripe to Stator plug on back of alternator
At alternator
Attach # 6 gauge wire from starter solenoid battery terminal to alternator battery terminal
At alternator
Attach # 10 gauge wire from engine block ground to back of alternator case
So what should I be looking for a loose ground or something else in my wireless ??

Has it ever worked correctly or did this start immediately after converting to 3g?
Did the interior lights do this with the old style alternator?
With headlights and AC and interior lights turned on, do the headlights flicker also?
