Gaba......how about a over heating update...............

My little parts chaser 91  tried to leave me on the road last week with an over heating problem. The radiator/block was so full of rust water wouldn't drain out of the petcock(can I say that on here?!) on the lower radiator.
Removed the thermostat (clogged with rust!)
Jewged a piece of war in the  petcock hole (now I KNOW that will be censored )
                           and back flushed it
Filled it full of white vinegar and drove it like that a couple days
Drained that (looked like the red river).
Gonna drive it a while as is and drain again before cold weather.

What about your pony? You ever get it figgered out?!

A little preventive maintenance through the years goes a long way.  Even if it is just a chebby.

6Sally6!!! That is right! I havent updated in a while!! the radiator is in , all clean, and flushed, and working.

I havent had a chance to take it out for a ride yet.. Its very LOW on power.. I messed up something on the carb / timing when doing the radiator thing..

Anyway..

I will post some pics here shortly.. :D

Be sure to relocate those tranny lines before you drive it. That stuff is highly flammable!
