Are the 86-93 accessory drive have the same or different offset from front of engine as compared to 94-95 mustangs and F-series trucks?
Offline
Yes Fox and SN95 Mustangs are different, and the truck is definitely much different.

As Raymond sez, different offsets.
The 94/95 had a shorter water pump, so that everything could fit in the new body style with that big e-fan that was first used in them.

What measurements do you need?

Was just wondering what the distance from front of cylinder head or timing chain cover/block surface to a common reference on pulleys?
Apparently can’t mix and match without modifications.
Just haven’t run across this information.
More out of curiosity and help others if buying parts separately.
Thanks,
Dan

REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
