My cold weather project

I tubbed the truck bed and am getting ready to paint it satin black urethane. The oak bed will be satin ebony stained.

Looks like you are doing an awesome job so far. keep the updates coming.  I love the old F100's . Been looking for a 56 for awhile myself.

Re: My cold weather project

Those look like some quality inner fenders Steve. What brand are they? Will probably do that on my 56 project beater.

Um...member That picture posting issue? It's terminal for me. Just picture in your mind a surface rust primer grey small window with the engine, hood and bed removed.

Re: My cold weather project

Tubs are from Daniel Carpenter.  He is the go-to for bed parts.

Re: My cold weather project

Thanks Steve. Ya, Daniel Carpenter makes quality parts. I've got his front hood lip moulding for my 69 waiting to be installed. His is the only one that fits a 69.

Re: My cold weather project

I stained some of the oak bed floor today.  Should look good with the satin black paint. It is amazing how much assembly/disassembly/reassembly is required to put this thing together.

Re: My cold weather project

That's like building an airplane. You have to fit the part 3 times before installing it. But your moving along pretty fast on your bed. It took me three days to change the oil and fix a flat tire on the Cub. One thing leads to another and before your finished you've done 6 other minor projects that show up.
