That reminds me of my 1969 428 Mach 1 my younger brother totaled. A friend of mine wanted the rear axles for his car. I told him it was in my driveway help himself to the axles, when I came home from work the car was three feet sideways. He had a slide hammer on the axle and couldn't get the first one out. I did a lot of street racing and Wednesday nights at Lions drag strip. Must have twisted the axles just enough they wouldn't come out.

Reminds me of the time I told my buddy one of his u-joints was going bad in his Lightening. "No, its just something in the suspension clicking." he said. I'm sure he really believed that until he dropped the driveshaft pulling out on the highway a couple weeks later. How to turn a $20 repair into a $500 repair.
