Wouldn't that mean shorter gears 3.5 to 3.7. because I would need to run twice as fast to keep up with you.
Whatever as my running days has been long gone.

I have the soluton for you ... No need to change out Governor and all that.. SPT-1 valve body from silverfox transmissions.. and all your shifting issues will go away!
I have the wide ratio, but have seen people without wide ratio or with wide ratio have the same issue.. down shifts are too late.. engine bogs way down.. up shifts are a bit early..
I kid you not.. its the best money I spent.. and it was a drop in fix to most AOD issues which are vale body related.. and yes I have 3.25 in the rear myself. My trans now shfts into 4th AFTER 40 mph atleast.. as soon as I drop under 35, I drop into 3rd.. Step on it, and it goes straight to 2nd (even if I am in 4th).. its beautiful!!
