I just wanted to pass on my recent experience with the new copper-nickel brake tubing and mastercool hydraulic flaring tool.....wow, what a dream to use. The rear line popped on my f150, which is starting to rust like crazy now into my 10th year in Pennsylvania, being a California truck without any rustproofing whatsoever. Ended up making all new lines, as the others were brittle as well. The tubing al
lowed me to make a lot of freehand bends and loops, only on tight radiuses did I have to use a Bender. I am not sure how this tubing would hold up on a race car, rockcrawler/ Wheeler,etc., where's there a lot of vibration and flexing, but works great on my truck. As for the snap on (mastercool) flaring tool....what a dream to use. I am jealous of everyone who owns one of these.

A LOT of copper/nickel was used on submarines. Good stuff butt-hard to weld. (maybe it was just me!)
Nickel/copper,on the other hand....welds great,like SS!

I have used it also on 99 f150 all my brakes lines let go rusted out. The whole truck frame is rusted bad but this ohio . With only 100k you would think it would be in better shape.
