I made this for my project years ago. The base is an industrial pipe clamp that has been MACHINED into roundness to fit around the steering column without crushing it. The gauges started off life as mini tachs you could buy at any parts store. I took the one apart on the right removed the tach guts, and shoehorned a voltmeter in there. This was made to fit on and around an ididit tilt column.

Now I have a question for you. I am really interested in your 3D printing prowess. I am wondering, can you print this out? I have worked and tried to make this out of metal, and my declining skills I just cant get it done. I have had a myriad of problems trying to get the look I want right. So far I havent gotten it. I actually have access to a large 3D printer, we tried making this and we are just not talented enough on the computer with the program to get this right, either. This is my vision for a triple gauge pod for a 1963 Ford Galaxie. I am worried about the weight of it being plastic a material not strong enough long term. I had the same thoughts about my homemade rally-pac. Why I went with metal. share image

Fabrication is fabrication. What gauges? Whatever you want. You can get every type of gauge you can think of (and some you cannot) in 2 1/4. Autometer and Speed Hut will keep you glued to their catalogs for days.

Speedhut for the win!!! For the same price , all of the gauges are customizable.. so this is what I came up with!!!

Wuh-snot two love?!! Looks super to me!
Got two posterz go'in at the same time!
Greg B........I always have liked the dash/instrument panel of a 63 Galaxie. Might be because that was the car I got my license in! First car I drove on a double date......First car I drove on a 'single date (ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh yeeeeeeeeeahhhhhhhh!) First car I got my First ---- --- in!! They have an amazing amount of room in the back seat! Our 63 had those Finger Hut plastic seat covers over the seats. Made my girl friend's rear look like she sat on a waffle iron!
Try getting naughty with your girl friend in the deep south...in the summer time...90% humidity.....No AC..........and plastic seat covers!!! Talk about a challenge!
Gaba.....you couldn't talk MS out of one of his FoMoCo Rally Pacs?!!
What chew got looks good to me!!
