The other day I got one of those 60% off flyers from Mustangs Unlimited. The one good for the few items they have left "in stock". I looked through everything for a 68 and came across their selection of 68 Shelby consoles listed for under $300. Good deal if you want a nice console...
Just passing along some info.
I wound up ordering over $100 worth of "really good deals" on lots of special bolts and brackets and Shelby literature. And even found some Shelby parts. So, they do have a "few" parts left. And I got 60% off everything.

I also got one of the consoles. Was pretty please with the quality.

Follow-up on my Mustangs Unlimited order.
Received various mismatched parts.
I ordered rear axle ubolts in standard length and in 1” longer version. They look ok but have coarse threads. Never seen Mustang ubolts with coarse threads. All unusable.
Of course, the nuts for the ubolts were all fine thread. Three pairs of what appeared to be hardware store fine thread nuts and one pair of double height fine thread nuts. All of this unusable.
I ordered fan shroud screws and clip nuts. Again, two correct bolts and two incorrect bolts, all marked with same part number. Three correct clip nuts and one for something else, all with same part number. Mostly unusable.
I ordered copies of original 68 Shelby advertisements and spec sheets. I know the ads were in color. They sent cheap black and white stuff like they had a kid in the copy room cranking them out.
The only reason I ordered the hardware was so I would have matching sets of extras should a need arise. No wonder they are going out of business.
I did get a real nice 13# Autolite chrome radiator cap, though. And some trunk and floor underlayment for cheap.

I looked at their site and loaded some items in the shopping cart. I did notice that they had two types of those U bolts........fine and course thread. Thought I'd buy a set of longer u bolts in case I ever needed to use lowering blocks........after reading your experience, I'm no longer interested in purchasing anything from them...sorry for your trouble....

I ordered a convertable top cover from them, I looks real nice. Hven't tried it yet the car's still dead.
