I'm ready to put it back in the car. I dug out the mounts and noticed (because I didn't notice when I took them off) that they can be put on with the long side toward the front or rear, meaning the engine will be to far forward or to far rearward if installed incorrectly. The book doesn't say which way they go. Anyone know?

Rearward so you won't have radiator/water pump snout/fan issues.
