Dash Pad Paint 1970 Mach 1 Mustang

I just painted my bash pad and I am not happy with the results. The color is way off and it is very shiny, actually still looks wet when it is dry...
The car has a ginger interior, I bought paint (rattle cans) that was supposedly correct for the application from Mustangs Unlimited...So I am wonering if anybody has had any similar experiences?
Would really like to get the correct color in a paint that is not a high glosss.

Thanks any help would be great

KC

Can you post what paint that you bought?  Was it SEM?

No it was not SEM, it was Rainbow Industries Inc "Classic Paints For Classic Cars"  The color was supposed to be medium ginger

NPD sells the SEM in a rattle can with a good nozzle - I used it on the dash sheetmetal to touch up scratches and it was a perfect match to the original finish (Partchment) - couldn't see the transistions at all. I see that there are two Gingers, medium & dark.
