anyone running a tko 600 trans in a 69 mustang can give me any pointers before i go ahead and pull the trigger.

Not a 69, but the 69 has the same floor as my 66 I just installed one in. There are crossmembers available that will allow you to bolt it in, but the tranny will be tilted way down. I raised the tranny hump about 1" from stock to clear the transmission, sectioned a 67-70 floor crossmember (the piece that goes over the tranny) and built a custom lower crossmember in order to get it in there at the right angle. The upper and lower crossmembers were positioned about 2" aft of stock location in order to not have to cantilever the tranny mount, which can cause vibration issues.
It was a heck of alot of work to get it to fit properly.

Installed in my 68 with 428cj. No issues other than a slight trim of the shifter hole.
